Join us Tuesday, September 24, at 7pm in 249 Fine Arts for a lecture with visiting curator Hallie Ringle. Ms. Ringle juried the exhibition “Combined Talents”, which is currently on view in the Museum of Fine Arts.
Hallie Ringle is the Hugh Kaul Curator of Contemporary Art at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Prior to her arrival at the BMA in 2018, she was Assistant Curator at the Studio Museum in Harlem, where she ran the museum’s artist in residence program and led several curatorial projects, including the final installment of “F-Shows” and the 2017 exhibition “Fictions”. Hallie Ringle currently oversees the BMA’s significant collection of work made after 1970, leads the Collector’s Circle, and guides contemporary acquisitions for the museum.
