“TLH Sculpture”

Published September 9, 2020

In this post we are highlighting the “TLH Sculpture” (2018) located on Capital Cascades Trail between Cascades Park and FAMU Way’s Lake Anita. The large installation stands at 10-feet tall and 30-feet wide. Made from wood and steel, the design was created by Knight Creative Communities Institute (KCCI) volunteers Cosby Hayes and Ryan Sheplak. The generosity of 50 local donors, many volunteers, and the fabrication expertise of the @mastercraftsmanstudio_fsu brought the work to life. While TLH is an abbreviation and airport code for Tallahassee, it is also a reference to a previous KCCI project titled “Talent Lives Here.”
