FSU Museum of Fine Arts Receives Knight Foundation Grant

College of Fine Arts

The Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce that it has received a gift of just over $44,000 from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, which will help fund its exhibitions and programming in the coming year.

“We are incredibly thankful for the generous support from the Knight Foundation. This gift will allow the Museum of Fine Arts to continue providing world-class art exhibitions for FSU and the Tallahassee community,” said MoFA Director Kaylee Spencer. “These funds are vital to our upcoming exhibits, including an exciting show this spring that will feature rarely seen examples of ancient Andean art alongside contemporary Latin American works.”

MoFA is Tallahassee’s only art museum accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. Each year, more than 9,000 people enjoy free admission to the museum, which houses a collection of over 7,000 works of art and features approximately 9,000 square feet of exhibition space.
