HOMO SARGASSUM Opening Reception
In partnership with the TOUT-MONDE Art FOUNDATION, and Winthrop King Institute, the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts is thrilled to announce HOMO SARGASSUM. Twenty-three Caribbean artists consider the adverse environmental effects caused by a human-induced over-abundance of sargassum in conversation with the social and historical atrocities of the Middle Passage to imagine a new human-nature symbiosis.
Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, September 12th, from 6:00-8:00 PM EST. Free parking is available in the Call Street Garage. Refreshments will be provided.
