Opening the new year, the Museum of Fine Arts (MoFA) will present Selections from the Permanent Collection. A new gift to MoFA from collectors Michael and Michelle Cavendish is a set of 40 lithographs by Othon Friesz for Le Satricon (The Satyricon, 1949). The portfolio (New Acquisitions & Old Favorites) will be included in a thematic exhibition of works with mythological allusions or depictions, curated by graduate intern Jordan Samuels (Classics, Museum Studies).
New Acquisitions & Old Favorites will run from January 11 through February 3, 2013.
