mofa exhibits fall 2013

A Fortnight of Rembrandt will be on display at the museum September 20th through October 6th. MoFA expresses deep gratitude to Drs. Tobia and Morton Mower, for sharing their collection, and to the Office of the Vice-President for Research for sponsoring this exhibition of Rembrandt prints at Florida State University. These superb etchings give us a window into both the everyday life and cosmopolitan themes that captured Rembrandt’s imagination. Regular museum hours have been extended for this exhibition, please visit the museum website for more information.

During the first week of classes for the Fall of 2013, jurors Carolyn Henne, Associate Dean of the College of Visual Arts, Theatre & Dance and Art Department Chair and Allys Palladino-Craig, Director of the FSU Museum of Fine Arts named Oren Shkedy and Dana Ruttenberg’s video, Private I’s, as the 1st Award winner and Caroline Earley as the 2nd Award winner of the 28th Annual Tallahassee International.

The Tallahassee International will be on exhibition through October 6th.
