Learning & Resources

The Education Program promotes community and university involvement in the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts and appreciation of the vital function of the arts as a source for ideas, interaction, and influence within society and culture. The Education Program offers the following: tours, outreach, education packets for use with exhibitions (available on the MoFA website or as a hard copy by request), object guides for use with items in the Museum’s permanent collection, student displays, teacher workshops, The Council of Educators, university interdepartmental projects, and a university student volunteer and internship program.

Each year, in addition to tours (available upon request, and individually designed to meet the needs of the group), the Education Program of the FSU Museum of Fine Arts develops initiatives for K-12 teacher and student participation with exhibitions.

For those interested, please contact Viki D. Thompson Wylder, Curator of Education, 850-645-4681 or vwylder@fsu.edu.
